What was the last game you purchased?

Jul 07, '16, 2:05pm

LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens.

It's the first LEGO game I've played since The Complete Saga and I'm loving it. I was going to wait for a price drop but I've only been playing Uncharted 4 Multipalyer and whilst that's fun I needed something else to play.

Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerd.

Kidding, of course. I just purchased Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Zero Escape 3 over the past week, so I have no room to talk.

I recently picked up Adventures of Man and I bought a load of games in the Big in Japan sale , I must have spent maybe €50 and I got about 10-12 games. PlayStation know how to put on a sale, Nintendo could really learn a thing or two from them in regards to how PSN is operating lately.

Haha, I'd buy both of those but I don't have my Wii U anymore and I really don't have much time to play my Vita so I don't pick up games for it too often.

Fair enough. I'm curious about Star Ocean, but word of mouth on that game is pretty bad so I've avoided it.

Just picked up Uncharted 4 since it was on sale. I was going to wait until my backlog had thinned out a little, but the big discount convinced me to get it now.

Storyline and world are as bland as they get but mechanically the game works, I enjoy the combat.

131$ worth of stuff from Steam.

Full list here

Still barely put a dent into my gaming budget for the year, but that's fine because I have mooooore than enough to keep me busy for the next couple months.

720$ / year (60$ / month)

Having a limit to various spending helps to keep one disciplined with their money, or at least I've found it very helpful for myself.
I think I need to make that a general entertainment budget because I've gotten back into buying music and it doesn't make sense to have 2 separate money pools for recreational spending neither of which I ever seem to cap.

I just bought the physical Limited Run edition of Rainbow Moon on PS4. It has a new trophy list, separate from the digital version, so that was more than enough motivation to double dip on such a great title. Only 3000 copies will ever be made, and the last batch will be sold at 6pm EDT today if anyone wants to jump on board too! [link]

I bought all the microtransactions for the PS3 version, and never used them, because I think I only paid $12 on the game at launch (PS+ pricing), and that didn't seem like a fair price for the game (I felt it was worth far more). It makes me happy that I can support them again by buying this physical version, even though a $24.99 USD game costs me more than $50 CAD after conversion and shipping.

I just hope the sequel, Rainbow Skies, eventually gets the same treatment once it's released.
