there should be more traffic here. PC gaming (and im not even deep in the weeds yet) is superior to console gaming. way better selection of indies 60fps on almost any game

Would it be stupid to buy AMD Ryzen CPU's over Intel?

If it meets your performance and budget needs, no.

Last time I checked (few weeks back now), Intel was still winning in benchmarking comparatively, but Ryzen wasn't bad. Though, some articles I looked over brought to light some concerns when it came to the chips abilities when it came to gaming.

Thanks Frosti. Upon further research the Intel i7 is cheaper and better anyway so really no point in getting the Ryzen 7

It's AMD's latest CPU offering.

AMD's site

It use to be under the name "Zen". Maybe you are familiar with that?

Ah...I think I have heard that name before. To be honest I don't really keep up to date with AMD's offerings to begin with.

I do, but that's mostly because I want them to offer something better so Intel will pick their ass up and actually release a new chip that makes my brain melt when I read about it. portilloYell

Looks good.

Shows how much I've been keeping up with tech. I didn't even know the SSDs that go directly into your board were available for purchase. I bet that'll run really nice for you.
