I DIDN'T WANT A GAMING PC
I never wanted a gaming PC because I am an apple fanboy. I have my MacBook Pro from 2009, that we added an SSD to it to keep it alive a few years ago, I've had an iPhone since the 3G came out, I'm on my second iPad now, (originally I had an iPad 2, and now an iPad Pro). My friends all have gaming PCs and have told me to build one for a while. I liked the idea of building a PC, because that's fun, but I never liked the idea of using windows for all my other stuff.
A few weeks ago my friend gave me his PC, which we built about 2 years ago. The motherboard was fried so I just bought a new motherboard and we replaced it and got it working. I've now had the PC for about a month, and it's very fun to use. Not just for gaming, but I have used my Adobe Creative Cloud apps on there to work on stuff. I've used it for writing.
I now like the idea of having this PC as my desktop computer at home and maybe upgrading to a newer Macbook or Macbook air in the future. This way I'll have my apple for travel and working out of home, and the PC to use when I am home.
I also have a PS4 and Switch at home, which I also use for gaming, but with this PC I can now play everything, everywhere any time!
So,if you're not sure about building a gaming PC, you should totally do it, it's tons of fun, but I still love my Macbook and apple stuff too...
