I just started the book, and it's super sad to hear her talk about Miguel Ferrer who only just recently passed away himself.

Splitting my time between two books.

Hell Divers by Nicholas Smith and Opening Atlantis by Harry Turtledove.

What are you reading right now?

I'm currently in the middle of Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I'm on Carpe Jugulum, the 23rd novel. I love Pratchett's unique brand of satire, and his amazing ability to be really funny and completely serious at the same time.
In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods. They have not forgotten this.

I've started reading book 1 of In search of lost time, by Proust. It's like going to the gym, for brains. Enjoying it.

Yeah :) The first issue has come out, it's from Dark Horse. You can either buy issues individually (25-35pages) or wait for the hardcover volume that will inevitably be released. That will take some months though, maybe a year

Cooked by Michael Pollan -- there is a Neflix documentary based on the book. I was hooked and instantly got the book to read up.

Interesting read -- discussion of the evolution of cooking/food we consume through the 4 elements of nature (fire, air, earth, water). Its a fun read. But w/ kids, life, and occasionally gaming its been tough to finish. About 70% done.

Currently reading: Metro 2033, The Book of Lost Tales 2, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (just finished it actually), The Voices of Heaven, and The Lady of the Lake: A Novel of the Witcher.

All are quite good except for TBoLT2 which is terribly boring and reads like the Old Testament in many ways. The Voices of Heaven is a little wanting but enjoyable nonetheless.

Not going to lie, since I found Joe Rogan's podcast because of Colin's appearance, I've fallen down the rabbit hole.

While I have listened to numerous guests, he had Rob Wolff on about food/diet/health and while I am not looking for any specific answers, I find health/food/the body absolutely fascinating. For no other reason except that I just find it interesting.

So picked up his book:

Lost Moon by Jim Lovell

I've been on a bit of an Apollo 13 itch and I've been meaning to read this book for the longest.
