The Vita Relocation Program

Hey--

For too long, too many PlayStation Vitas have gone unloved and unappreciated around the globe. Today, we're fixing that.

The Vita Relocation Program is simple:
- Do you have a PlayStation Vita you're no longer using? Mail it to us, and we'll get it into a loving home.
- Do you think you could give a Vita a better life? Post here saying you'd adopt a forgotten Vita, and when we find a system we think would work well with you, we'll private message you here on the forum asking for your address. Then, we'll mail you the unit. When this inevitiably becomes too expenseive and time consuming, I'll bring the orphan Vitas to 2017 shows like Kinda Funny Live 3, PAX, and PSX and all you'll have to do is ask for one.

Simple right? If you're neglecting a Vita and want to see it live again, mail it to...

Together, we can save the thousands of Vitas yearning to be played again.

Love the idea! If you don't mind some positive criticism though, I think you're hanging your international audience out to dry. Sending stuff internationally can be expensive and can also lead to problems with customs. Any chance you can think of a way that would be more inclusive for all our best friends overseas?

I could sure use a Vita. My job constantly has me on the road traveling. It would be great to have something to play rather than continually going over my mobile data watching YouTube.

Love this idea and hope I make the cut.

I'd be up for giving the Vita a welcome home with me. I like to give any system a fair shake and as the Vita's years might be waining, I'm willing to give it fair time and discover why the Best Friends are so devoted to it.

This is a really cool idea. Sucks about the shipping for international fans.

Or what if this is really Lola masquerading as Greg, trying to get Vita's sent to her so she can control the population of Vita Island?

Is this just for US folk? Either way it's a great idea :)

If it's available to those outside the US then I'd be happy to give a Vita a new home. I've always been a big handheld fan so it'd be a great thing to have.

I really, really think I would be a good adoptive parent of a long lost Playstation Vita. I used to have one, but because of being a poor college student, I had to get rid of it, and I've regretted it every day since. I long for the days when I could just sit around and play Persona 4 Golden or Uncharted: Golden Abyss. I have a ton of free games for a Vita through Playstation Plus, and I think that I could give a poor Vita a good life.

I live in the UK so not sure how viable posting to the UK is.

I'd love to have a Vita. My father had a stroke in January and I've been trying to get the money together to buy him a portable console that he can use to try and get his hand/eye coordination back but I am poor and can't really afford £100 for him.

I can give proof of his stroke if people don't think I am on the level.

Re: The Vita Relocation Program

Well, I just made an account, and I don't want to come off as greedy, but I would really like a Vita. I'm a senior in high school who doesn't have very much time on his hands; I've been working super hard lately, and my grades have been really good, but I haven't had a ton of time to play games. At least, nowhere near as much as I used to. A handheld device would help with this. I have a 3DS, but I don't use it as much as I'd use a Vita. Shovel Knight, Severed, Remote Play, portability, and all of the plus games I've been stockpiling are all reasons I'd love to have a Vita. Thanks for your consideration, guys. Love ya :)
